THE BODYGUARD

Whitney Houston in the iconic Bodyguard costume. It is a highly polished silver.

Whitney Houston in the iconic Bodyguard club scene 'Queen of the Night' costume. The costume was vacuum-formed plastic that was then vacuum metallized and highly polished, along with more silver beads than we could count, and mounted on a leather base.  There are several pieces to the costume.  A few were only made for the character to reject in a fitting scene.

Image shows Ms. Houston removing the cape at the club.

Removing the cape at the club performance. The cape was gorgeous - we all loved the hood and the details.

Image is a full length view where the skirt fringe is seen in motion.

A long shot showing that amazing bead fringe in action.

Image shows Ms. Houston mid performance, where you see more of the arm band and gloves.

Mid performance at the club.  You can see the details on the gloves. Most of the arm band details are on the back and aren't seen here.

Back view of the Queen of the Night costume.  There are spikes on the backs of the arm bands.  The original spikes were deemed too large so they were replaced with shorter versions.

Image is a closeup of Whitney Houston in an early version of the helmet for the Queen of the Night.

Closeup of Ms. Houston in an early version of the costume.  We made quite a few extra pieces for this costume that are demonstrated for her character to reject in an early scene.  This helmet was one of those pieces.
